Project Architect / Lead Designer

AGD is looking for an experienced lead designer or architect to continue to build our diverse custom residential design team. This position would manage a group of project managers and designers in the San Luis Obispo office, but would need to travel through California to visit a variety of sites.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture

• Licensed Architect in California (preferred but not required)

• 5-10 years of professional design experience

• Willing and able to work in person at the San Luis Obispo office.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Excellent design capabilities on custom residential. Luxury, contemporary/modern aesthetic preferred.

• Extensive experience in Revit

• Extensive experience in Sketchup

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Multiple years of experience in managing projects from design to completion

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Work constructively as a member of a collaborative team

Project Manager 

AGD is looking for an experienced project manager to join our Porterville office. This satellite office helps to manage projects throughout the Central Valley and beyond.  You will work with our Principal and Office Lead to manage a variety of commercial projects while helping on smaller residential projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field

• 5-8 years of professional design experience in an Architecture office

• Willing and able to work in person at the Porterville office.

• Extensive experience in Revit

• Proficiency in Sketchup and AutoCAD

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

AGD is looking for driven designers to join our team to work on a variety of project types and in all phases of design and construction.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture

• 1-3 years of professional design experience and/or internship

• Willing and able to work in person at the San Luis Obispo or Porterville office.
