AGD is searching for talented and creative individuals to join our design team. We are a small, innovative studio of highly creative designers located in San Luis Obispo, CA and Porterville, CA. We collectively work throughout California and abroad on a wide variety of residential, commercial, and community projects.
We are seeking an architect with 10–15 years of experience in civic and commercial architecture (residential a plus as well) who is eager to lead, mentor, and innovate with our young and evolving team. You will not only guide the design and delivery of impactful civic and commercial projects across California but also play a vital role in shaping the next generation of architects at AGD.
This is more than a project role—it’s an opportunity to step into a leadership position within a firm where your ideas matter and your work has a direct impact on both people and place.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
-
Licensed Architect in California
-
10-15 years of professional design experience
-
Willing and able to work in person at one of our offices.
DESIRED SKILLS-
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Adobe Suite.

Strong project management expertise with a proven record of delivering successful projects.

An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and sustainability.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead, present, and inspire.

Collaborative leadership style that balances creativity with accountability.

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

Multiple years of experience in managing projects from design to completion

Senior Project Architect

AGD is looking for driven designers to join our team to work on a variety of project types and in all phases of design and construction.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture

1-3 years of professional design experience and/or internship

Willing and able to work in person at the San Luis Obispo or Porterville office.

Excellent design capabilities on a wide range of projects

Proficiency in Sketchup and AutoCAD
