The Nautical Bean coffee shop in San Luis Obispo is a 2500 square foot second location for this local Central Coast brand. Designed in a style that the owner calls “industrial-anarchist”, the project included a kitchen, service bar, multiple seating areas, a conference room, and restroom areas. The design uses industrial materials in ways that are not only cost effective but also easy to maintain. Walls were strategically designed around the shop to allow for art, decor, and skateboard decks to be displayed.
